Hey all,

My name is Samir and I play for Javelinas and I have a small favor to ask to our TWSL community. I unfortunately find myself having to re-home my puppy Coco, and was hoping the group here could help spread the word. Below is some information on Coco, and the link to her adoption site.

I rescued Coco a year & a month ago, when I found her, she was quiet and reserved, but since she has become a loving member of the family. Coco loves to chase birds, she loves to bury her toys in the couch, and above all loves to eat (peanut butter, chicken, and beef jerky). She likes to cuddle & sneak into the bed when I’m asleep, and is an active outgoing dog once she trusts you.

Coco is a 1 and 1/2 year-old shy puppy that has come a long way since I rescued her a year ago. She has unfortunately developed a bit of fear of other dogs after getting attacked once at the dog park. She can definitely learn to trust other dogs (I take her on playdates to a friend’s house with their dog), but typically she does better with friendly, happy-go-lucky dogs, than with anxious dogs.
She’s fully up-to-date with all her shots/vaccines, and has no chronic medical issues. She’s a smart dog that requires some patience as she’s shy and nervous when she initially gets to know you. But a complete softy and sweet goofball once she trusts you.

As I’ll be likely leaving Tucson & AZ after wrapping up my PhD, the job hunt will probably take me to a more urban city, and it won’t be fair to bring with me a high-energy, big dog just to have her locked in an apt. I hate having to re-home her but I think it’s what’s best for both me and Coco. So I’m focusing on finding her a new loving home now that I have the time since I want to avoid taking her back to the shelter at all costs.

If you know of anyone interested – please share the word. I appreciate any leads and any helps. If you have any info, please text or call at (520) 719-9224, or email at samirrachid0226@gmail.com

Thank you all.
